Show Max Weaver Art Exhibit at SUSC Currently on exhibit at the Southern Utah State College library is a one-man show by Max D. Weaver, former Art Professor at SUSC. The exhibit opened Friday and will hang through February 17, according to Tom Challis, librarian. The exhibit is in the lobby of the library and features painting, pain-ting, pottery, and jewelry. Mr. Weaver, who is now a professor at BYU, lived in Cedar City for four years. During this time he acquired a great love for the beauty of "Color Country" and this love and appreciation is expressed in many of his paintings. Professor Weaver has been associated with the art department at BYU for the past 17 years. He has also done some special teaching, for short periods of time, in Hawaii. |
