Show EnSch Mr u and I Recent arrivals in this area include a boy for Mr. and Mrs. John Paxman, and a girl for Mr. and Mrs. Chris Key. Also a baby girl was born recently to Mr. and Mrs. Ross Ray. Senator Ivan Matheson and Representative Garth Jones returned Sunday after the close of the State Legislature. Charles Baker of Enoch returned home last week from a trip to Calif, and a medical checkup from his doctors there. Mr. and Mrs. Walt Smith enjoyed a weekend visit recently from Blye's uncle, Max Gardner who is spending the winter in St. George. Walt and Blye spent part of last week in St. George and Las Vegas on business. Mr. and Mrs. Glendon received word from their children in Calif, that their daughter Mrs. Marilyn Bergener has been in the hospital very ill with Meningitis. She is now reported to be improving. Mr. and Mrs. Alan DeMille were in Phoenix recently where Alan attended a World of Crecrete Seminar. They also visited with friends and relatives in that area. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Rodet, came from Leeds recently to visit with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Rodet and baby and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Edwards and family. Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Jones enjoyed a visit recently from their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Van Muejin and Ed's brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Van Muejin. Mr. and Mrs. Stanford Jones were in Salt Lake week before last to go through the Temple with John and Trudy Jones and boys. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Grimshaw and daughter were out of town for a few days. Doug went to Calif, on business and Chris stayed in St. George with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Christiansen enjoyed weekend visits from their children, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Gerew and girls were here from Springville, and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Taylor and baby from Granger. Mrs. Gay Sorensen and baby are visiting here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Grimshaw. Gay and her husband Jim live in Blackfoot, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Ivor Jones were in Blackfoot, Idaho recently to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mathews and their family and to see their grandson Russell before he leaves on an LDS Mission. They returned on Monday of last week in time to be snowbound in Fillmore. While in Fillmore they stayed overnight with Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Johnson and family. A. B. lived in Enoch when he was younger and will be remembered by some of the older residents. Mrs. Agnes Henroid returned home this past week after spending part of the winter in Las Vegas and Pahrump, Nev. with her children. Mrs. Juana Englestead is home from the hospital after several days spent there with pheumonia. |
