Members of the Cedar City Dental Auxiliary prepare materials for presentation during National Children's Dental Health Week. Making plans to participate par-ticipate in the National Children's Dental Health Week February 5-11 is the Cedar City Dental Auxiliary. Posters, phamphlets and other visual aids have been collected for use by the Dentist and Wives during visits to the classroom. "Smile America" is the theme for the week and posters can be seen throughtout the city. Already planned for this year is the schixil Health Nurse, Delia Farrow's program in the second grades. She will present the Crest program and a film for the first and third grades. All teachers in the Elementary, Junior High and High Schools are encouraged en-couraged to invite the local Dentists into their classrooms for a discussion on Dental Health. The dentists are well prepared to present Dental Health information in-formation to all age groups. Steve Harmon's Southern Utah State College Education Class has received instruction in preventive dentistry and hopes to also help in classroom presentations. Dental Health is important to overall physical health was the counsel given by Naomi Lunt, President of the Utah State Dental Auxiliary Association. Mrs. Lunt is also a local Dental Wife. Mrs. Linda Burbidge and Dr. Ray Lunt are Co-Chairmen Co-Chairmen of the local observance ob-servance of National Children's Dental Health Week. |
