Show "Scouting in Government" trains Boys portunities to each boy chosen, to learn how Democracy works. "This is the first year that 'Scouting i" Government' has been tried here in Utah" said Harold Shirley who is coordinating the ellort. "We hope that in future years, the program will gain momentum and that it will x a special honor for boys in each troop to be chosen for the days activities''. A great deal of effort has gone into planning today's activity. And recognition is due all who make it possible. The Cedar Breaks District of the Boy Scouts of America has set February 2 as "Scouting in Government" day. One boy from each troop in the Cedar Breaks District has been chosen to spend today with local, state or federal government leaders. The boys will Ix-gin the clay with a talk from Judge Ronnow and then will spend the remainder of the day with a "Government Leader." That evening, the boys will visit the City Council Meeting iti Cedar City. Parowan Scouts visited Council meeting Wednesday evening.
