Show Gold and Green j Ball Arrangementsj Completed The preparations being made for the annual Gold and Green ball of the American Pork four wards audi the stake boards of the M. I. A. j promises to be an outstanding social event in the community. The committees com-mittees appointed to make the various var-ious arrangements report their efforts ef-forts to be going forward nicely and all indications point to a very successful suc-cessful ball. The main feature of the ball perhaps per-haps will be the four lovely Gold and Green queens who will reign over the affair, also the demonstration of the Gold and Green contest dance. The young ladies upon whom this honor has been confered by the Mutual Improvement Associations of ! the four wards are: Miss Selma ! Seastrand, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. i E. J. Seastrand of the First ward; MMiss Sarah Earl, daughter of Mr. I and Mrs. Alma Earl of the Second i ward; Miss Bonna Ashby, daughter ! of Mr. and Mrs. R.'L. Ashby of the Third ward, and Miss Leola Robinson, Robin-son, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Robinson. Each queen will be escorted escort-ed by a young man, member of her ward. The queens committee is arranging ' to have the girls attired in gowns 11 of colors to represent the four sea-fisons sea-fisons of the year, Spring, Summer, !: Autumn and Winter, with corsages ; to match. " I tu,,, y,prI,lrlK nf- Q-45 n. m. will innounce the readiness of the lueens' party for entrance. The lancers who will demonstrate the ;ontest dance will come first, after which the queens and their escorts pill march through the hall to their Dlaces. The committees in charge are making a special effort to arrange to have the crowd stand back far snough to permit all to view the queens as they enter the hall, also to have special lighting effects.
