I ' Must we, as a community, be held back when a full, abundant late water supply can make it possible to furth- I er diversify our crops of this section and provide a greater f return for the farmer and property owner? i Are we going to listen to one or two unprogressive citizens who are content with their present condition of affairs and who have practically lived their life, and let them lead us into passing up the last possible chance to ; secure a needed water supply? These are some of the questions every owner of land, and irrigation stock are confronted with in the Deer ; ; Creek project matter. The time is fast drawing to the point when we will have to make a decission in this matter. Let us look into f the future and face the problem confronting us with an ! open, general attitude. AVe need to be cautious in the manner in which we enter into securing the needed water, but for the good of all and, if we ever hope to advance and cope with other sections of our county and nation, ", we must have more water. Let our community leaders get busy on this matter and secure the needed water. As a unit we are needed to I help put over the Deer Creek project and we should loose I no time in stepping out and doing our part. |
