Elir.a the 9-ycar-cld daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. McDaniel has sufficiently recovered from a recent ont-iation, to be able to be moved from the hospital to the home of her grandmother, Mrs. Procter, at American Fork. Mr. LeGrande Strong, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark F. Strong of this city, is in a hospital in California suffering with a broken leg which he received in an automobile accident some three weeks ago. His Many friends hope for his speedy recovery. The M. I. A. Gold and Green Ball was held in the gymnasium Thursday Thurs-day evening. Miss Maurine Strong, popular young daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark F. Strong, was the Gold and Green queen, and she was attended at-tended by Misses lone Marsh and Fay Ashby. The music was furnished furnish-ed by The Americans. The Daughters of the Pioneers will hold their regular monthly meeting at the home of Mrs. Luella Moyle Binns Thursday afternoon, February 8th. A social was given in the Relief Society rooms Tuesday afternoon in honor of the visiting Teachers. A short program, games and lunch were enjjyed by those present. |
