New Regulation On Power Co. Delinquent De-linquent Accounts The Utah Power & Light company has obtained permission from the ' public utilities commission of Utah ; to change its practice with regard to discounts for prompt payment, In, a manner that win De oi consiueiauic benefit to consumers whose accounts are in arrears. Effective immediately, consumers of all classes of service may receive prompt payment discount or pay the net bill, whichever method is provided in the schedule, by paying the current month's account in full, within the discount or net period, regardless of the fact that a delinquent delin-quent balance may exist. It is pointed out by power company com-pany officials that this change Ls adopted as an aid to those consumers consum-ers whose accounts, because of economic eco-nomic conditions, have become delinquent, de-linquent, which formerly prevented their receiving the advantage of prompt payment discounts on current cur-rent months' bills.
