Show Democrats Select County Chairman ; i S. T. Shelley, local Democratic Chairman, Thomas A. Barratt, 1 county representative, Clarence A. 1 Grant, county secretary and Mi's. ' T. A. Greenwood, local lady Demo- ' cratic chairman attended the reor- ganization meeting of the county central committee held Monday night at Provo. Dr. Hugh M. Woodward, Wood-ward, professor of philisophy of education at the B. Y. U. was elected elect-ed county chairman to succeed. Robert L. Elliot, who has served' for three (terms. Mr. Woodward j was elected over Clarence Beesleyj of Provo, the other nominee for the office. Mrs. W. H. Callahan was re-elected to the position of lady chairman by acclamation. The secretary sec-retary and treasurer will be appointed appoint-ed by the new chairman in the near future. Seventy-eight delegates or their proxies were in attendance. Prior to the meeting Mrs. Greenwood Green-wood was guest of Mrs. Callahan along with the other lady chairman of the county at dinner at her home. Twelve were present, and some special business was outlined also. -o |
