Show qJociftt RETURN FROM PLEASANT TRIP. Mrs, W. B. Isaacs and Mrs. J. II. Maxey, the latter of Yuma, Ariz , came In from the coast Tuesday and are the guests of Mrs. Isaac's parents. Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Uttlefield. at their home, 252S Madison avenue. Mrs. Isaacs and Mrs. Maxey made the trli together to the "Tllan of Chasms." the Grand Canyon of Arizona aud afterwards after-wards spent several weeks at that famous summer resort. Ocean Park, California, where a number of Ogden-Hes Ogden-Hes also enjoyed the cool sea breezes nnd refreshing bathing during the heated term. Mrs. Isaacs will remain In Ogden until about the first of October, Oc-tober, before returning to Tucson. Ariz., where Mr. Isaacs makes his headquarters as constructing engineer engi-neer for the Southern Pacific company. com-pany. Mrs. Maxey' is on her way to Denver to Join her husband, who was a member of the first United States cavalry' (Rough Riders) during the Spanish-American war and who will be on hand to greet his old commander, command-er, Col. Theodore Roosevelt, at the reception re-ception which takes place In the mile-high mile-high city, August 20lb. A pleasant hlrthday party was given In honor of Nellie Do Groot at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Do Groot, ISO West Twentieth street, Tuesday.
