Senator Call is survived by u daughter. daugh-ter. Miss Lucy Call. Serving in the upper branch of congress con-gress IS years, from 17!! to 1S97. Mr. Call occupied an important place on hcveral committees. He was a native ' of Rnsselville. K. and was 70 years old. In boyhood, he went to Florida. At the outbreak of the Civil war, Mr. , Call enlisted as a volunteer in the ' Confederate army and lefore the close of hostilities became adjutant general gener-al of Florida troop. After the war the Florida legislature elected him U, S. senator, but ho was not then seated seat-ed Thereafter he began the practice of law In Jacksonville He was a member of .the Democrat Ic National Executive committee in VS70 and delegate toMho Democratic X;i tional convention In 1S7C.
