Show Ward Primary Conference Held Primary Conference of the Neola ward was presented last Sunday evening to a large congregation. con-gregation. The theme "We Have Reason To Rejoice," centered around the completion of the new Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City. All of the parts were portrayed by Primary boys and girls, with the exception of the teacher, which was enacted by Zola Spencer, and the narrators for the1 three parts, which were read by Barbara Jensen, Rhae Peterson and LaVara Mitchell. Representing the Primary stake board were Lois Leavitt and Dorothy Jensen. A large number of local people peo-ple attended the funer'al services ser-vices of Mrs. Julia Kettle, which were held in the Ballard chapel last Wednesday. The family resided re-sided in Neola for a number of years. Lloyd Davis left last week for Los Angeles, Calif., where he has employment. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Jensen visited vis-ited in Provo last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Orvil Rudy and daughter, Martha Ann, of Roosevelt, Roos-evelt, were guests at the Theron Horrocks home last Tuesday evening. Participating in a state-wide square dance festival in Provo last Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Leland Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Davis. |
