Show Oil Field Report Sees lew Well, Testing Discovery Carter Oil Co.'s Whitlock-Taylor Whitlock-Taylor well in the Roosevelt Pool, where a spectacular fire destroyed a drilling rig early last February, appeared near-ing near-ing completion last Thursday as a 200-barrel producer. The well pumped 257 and 207 barrels of oil ' in . two 24-hour tests last week, according to Carter's scouting report. Meanwhile, testing was going forward at the 4,000-barrel Duchesne Du-chesne County, unit well north of Duchesne, Carter's fourth pool discovery in the Uintah Basin. Location of this well has been announced as center NE NW of Section 25, 3S, 5W., producing from the Green River formation at 5,126 to 5,225 feet. The original lessors in the Duchesne County unit, as filed Feb. 4, 1953, included the following: fol-lowing: Joe W. and Lenore Roz-zelle, Roz-zelle, Duchesne County; Mary W. and Edwin Bingham; Wil-f Wil-f ord T. and Ida Wilson, and Ernest E., Rachael D., Clarence L., Henrietta G.( James H., and Olive M. Wilson; J. R. and Hazel Robertson, and Eyner and Agnes Ag-nes Nielsen. The leases date back to Aug. 22, 1945. In most cases, the above lessors les-sors have relinquished percentages percen-tages of their royalty rights to other persons or companies. Duchesne County is a conspicuous conspic-uous example, having sold half its mineral rights to the east 320 acres of the section. Participating Parti-cipating owners , in this 160 acres include J. A. Cheney, J. R. Robertson, Earl M. Henderson, Hender-son, Ute Royalty Corp., Calvin P. Gaddis, W. D. Nebeker and Robert H. Burton. Space doesn't permit reproducing repro-ducing the complete list. |
