The repair consisted of removing re-moving all old timbers on the 268 foot structure, replacing the same with treated Oregon fir of heavier dimension. A cover coat of asphalt will be spread over the laminated deck as soon as weather permits, after af-ter which the steel truses will be cleaned and painted. The renovation was done un der the supervision oi tne jxoaas Division, Uintah and Ouray Agency, Ag-ency, Fort Duchesne, Utah, who recently took over ownership of the bridge, purchasing it from Uintah County for the sum of one dollar. Cost of the repair will exceed $35,000.00, paid entirely en-tirely by the Indian Service. This is the only bridge on Green River between Jensen and Green River, Utah. It was transferred from Jensen when the new cement and steel structure struc-ture was erected there.
