Show Wedding Bells fling For Popular Couple UPALCO Wedding bells were in the offing Thursday, April 30, when Miss Shirley Ann Iorg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Iorg and Leo A. Ames, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Dal-las Ames, of Altonah, exchanged exchang-ed wedding vows in an impressive impres-sive ceremony held at the Upal-co Upal-co ward chapel. Bishop Lee Potts officiated in the presence of the immediate families and close friends. The bride wore a ballerina length gown of yellow net over taffeta, accented by a corsage of red roses. Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Miss Betty Iorg, who wore a red organdy or-gandy afternoon dress, complimented compli-mented with a corsage of white gardenias. Mother of the bride was attired in a navy crepe gown and the groom's mother chose a black and white afternoon after-noon dress. Both wore gardenia corsages. Sister of the groom, Mrs. Jack Wirthlin, wore a blue linen frock accented with a corsage of white gardenias. Best man duties were performed per-formed by Gary Jessen. A wedding reception and dance was held immediately following the ceremony with the following program numbers presented: vocal vo-cal solo, Karma Jessen; vocal solo, Mona Nebeker; readings by Mrs. Grant Hansen and Mrs. Glen Ames. Refreshments were served to the large crowd, who attended to offer congratulations to the newlyweds, who will make their home in Salt Lake City, after a brief honeymoon. |
