Mrs. Virgil Mecham and Mrs. Clinton Bird, of Hancock Cove, called on Mrs. Mecham's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Lemon, Satur day. Louise Gentry was initiated into the Order of Jobs Daughters in Mt. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Sorensen and family spent Sunday with Sherman's mother, Mrs. Olive Sorensen. Sor-ensen. Mr. and Mrs. Marsh Donagan spent Friday evening in Roosevelt !at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Cy-rus Larsen. Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Dart were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kielbasa of Duchesne. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Russon and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Lemon of Roosevelt, spent Sunday afternoon with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon. Mr. and Mrs. Garrett Stone were Salt Lake City visitors last Tuesday. Mrs. James Lloyd and daughter, Dean, are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Faggioli in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Faggioli will be remembered re-membered as Pauline Lloyd. Twelve ladies attended the casserole cas-serole demonstration by Home Demonstration Agent, Mary Lois Reichert at the home of Etta Weeb on Wednesday. Zelma Lloyd went to Provo Friday, Fri-day, where she visited a sister, Mrs. Harrison, and on Saturday she went to Sandy to visit a son, Gam Loyd, and family and especially es-pecially to get acquainted with the new granddaughter who came to make her home with the Gam Lloyds. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nelson and Mrs. Wayne Sweat attended the funeral in Vernal, Wednesday, for Alvin A. Weeks, an uncle of Mrs. Nelson. CORRECTION: In last week's news changes in ward officers where it says John Robison - spoke, it should be Jo-lene Jo-lene Robison; released was Thel-ma Thel-ma Lamb and not Thelma Lloyd as activity counselor in the MIA and Jolene Robison was sustained as activity counselor, and not John Robison. Dr. and Mrs. Morris Benson came for their children, Diane and Mark, who have been visiting their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Benson. They left Sunday to make their home in Cedar City. The people from here who attended at-tended the Scout Court of Honor at Ballard Sunday, were: Scouts, Alton D Percival, Bart Killian, Gary Zobell, Jim Drollinger and Charles Richens; parents, Scoutmaster Scout-master and Mrs. Paul Foote, Mrs. Hugh Percival and some others. |
