Show DUP Meets At Mrs. Harris' Home Mrs. Leonard Harris was hostess hos-tess to members of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers Thursday afternoon. after-noon. The lesson was given by Mrs. Emery Nielson, "The Mormon Mor-mon Battalion." Prayer was offered of-fered and group singing completed the program. Present were Mrs. W. H. Linck, Mrs. Lydia Nielson, Mrs. Lydia Peatross, Mrs. Leo Haueter, Mrs. Emma Tanner, Mrs. Vern Edwards, Mrs. Austin Bro-kaw Bro-kaw and Mrs. Emery Nielson. HOME FROM HOSPITAL Emery Nielson has been confined con-fined to the Roosevelt Hospital for several days, but was able to be returned home, Sunday, when W. H. Linck brought him from Roosevelt. Roose-velt. He will be confined to his bed for several days, 'till he recovers re-covers more completely. He was visited Sunday by Mr. and Mrs. Silas Ross of Castle Gate and Mr. and Mrs. Hale Holgate of Arcadia, who are sisters and brothers-in-law of Mr. Nielson. They were dinner guests at his home while here. Mrs. Alan Sims arrived Monday Mon-day from Sacramento, California, called here by the death of her grandfather, A. M. Todd. She will remain for a short time to visit Miss Alice Todd and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd and family. Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Babcock are enjoying a visit from their son, A 3c John Babcock, who arrived Wednesday from Parks Air Force Base, near San Francisco. John enlisted in the Air Force in January Jan-uary and is on a ten day furlough enroute1 to Wichita Falls, Texas, where he will be stationed. Miss Shirley Harmon, a student stu-dent at the USAC at Logan, spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Harmon, returning re-turning Sunday evening to resume her studies. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Lott and children visited in Salt Lake City during the weekend. |
