Floyd Ross of Myton, Farmers Farm-ers Union fieldman, was elected temporary president. 10 YEARS AGO Little Dick Bingham of Myton, paced the Rosevelt High School to victory in the Uintah-Duchesne district track meet held at Roosevelt Roose-velt Friday afternoon. Bingham ran up 21 points for the school in the 100-yard dash. Roosevelt copped honors in the meet with 135 points, while Uintah was second sec-ond with 103. Alterra placed third with 47, and Altamont, Duchesne and Tabiona scanticlads went pointless. The marriage of Betty Lou Dye of Neola' to Ted Monks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank D. Monks of Myton, took place at Duchesne May 1st. The couple left for Salt Lake City Monday night for four days. Peterson, proprietor of the Duchesne and Roosevelt Flour Mills, recently purchased the Myton My-ton Mill from the Uintah Power and Light Company. During the past few weeks the Roosevelt Mill has been repainted and decorated inside. The Roosevelt Standard wishes to thank those who 'so willingly donated to the cemetery club campaign. cam-paign. Duchesne county commissioners and representative water projects committee spent all day Tuesday of this week in session with Gov. Blood's Public Works Sifting committee. com-mittee.
