Show Gusher Cleo Pappas Bride Honored At SSiower A shower given by Mrs. Freida Markey, Mrs. Vonnie Dahlberg, and Mrs. Hackford in honor of Eleanor Hackford Lyons was a great success. The shower was held at the Gusher LDS ward hall. There were games and Mrs. Annie Jackson from Roosevelt entertained en-tertained by playing and singing. A very nice lunch followed to climax the party. The bride received re-ceived many beautiful gifts. Here are a few of the many that were there: Mrs. Pete Hackford, mother of the bride; Mrs. Lyons, mother of the groom, and the following friends: Mrs. Freida Markey, Mrs. Daniels, Mrs. Cleo Pappas, Mrs. Bodily, Mrs: Semken, Mrs. Ferguson, Fer-guson, Mrs. Sagall, Mrs. Dahlberg, Mrs. Blanche MaCarrell and many more. " We wish the bride the best of luck and a long, happy marriage. Mrs. C. W. Bodily came home Wednesday.. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Clar-ence Godwen, of Salt Lake City, drove her home. Mrs. Bodily was visiting a sick daughter-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Allred also made a trip to Salt Lake. . Mrs. Violet Sagall, of Colorado, is out here visiting her sister, Mrs. A. D. Semken. Two Uintah Youths crashed into in-to the rear of Troy Trembles bus Friday. We are very glad to report re-port that no one was seriously injured. in-jured. Mrs. Virgil Kreviston is visiting her mother, Mrs. A. D. Semken. Dan Eskelson is home visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. Eskelson. |
