Show TRIDELL Lorna McKee MIA Rose Tying Ceremony Held The Mia Maid class held its Rose - Tying ceremony Monday night with their parents, executive execu-tive officers and the bishopric as guests. As each girl placed hr rose in the bouquet, she explained why she chose her rose and what it meant to her. Included in the Mia Maid class are: Deon Merk-ley, Merk-ley, Gwenna McKee, Sherlene Harvey, Har-vey, Alice Glines and Kay Morrill. Wanda Morrill is their leader. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Curtis, of Springville, visited at the Norman Kitchen home over the weekend. Owen and Rae Goodrich went to Salt Lake City Friday after building supplies. Mrs. Lorraine Bartlett Pierce and daughter, from California, and Mrs. George Bartlett from Little Bonanza, were dinner guests at the Charles Glines home Monday. They also visited the Owen Good-riches. Good-riches. Kent and Dianne Montgomery, children of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Montgomery, of Vernal, are staying stay-ing at the home of Norman Kitchen Kitch-en and Owen Goodrich while their parents are on a trip to Wyoming. Wyom-ing. Mr. and Mrs. Norwood Hardy and family, of Vernal, visited at the H. LeRoy Morrill home, Friday. Fri-day. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Kitchen, of American Fork, are parents of a baby boy, born April 26th. Morlan Harvey, of Baggs, Wyoming, Wy-oming, spent the weekend with his family. Mr. Harvey returned to his employment Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Harvey, of Layton, Mr. and Mrs. Orson Harvey of Provo, and George Harvey Har-vey of Salt Lake, spent the weekend week-end visiting at the James Harvey Har-vey s' and Farrell Simmons.' Mr. and Mrs. J. R. McKee took their son, Clayton, to Salt Lake, Wednesday, where he entered the Children's Hospital. He underwent an operation on his legs Friday. Mr. and Mrs. MeKee returned to their home, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Houtz, of Provo, were weekend visitors at the Ivan Morrils.' The Bob Bensons have moved to Roosevelt, where Mr. Benson has employment. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Olsen, Jr. and daughters visited at the Don Harvey and J. G. Warren homes during the week. A number of Seventies from our ward attended a special meeting held Saturday night at the stake house in Vernal. Lester Bartlett made a trip to Heber Saturday to bring home his - car after having it repaired, due to hitting a deer. Arlo Goodrich, stake high councilman, coun-cilman, visited Sunday School and Sacrament meeting, Sunday. The Ellis Morrill family were visitors in Provo, Saturday. A number of boys with their parents, attended the F.F.A. banquet ban-quet held Wednesday night at Union. Un-ion. The Junior Gleaners held their class at the home of Polly Mc-Conkie, Mc-Conkie, Tuesday night. Polly has been confined to her bed for some time resulting from a condition caused by rheumatic fever. Mrs. Bill Hoopes and children, of Whiterocks, visited friends and relatives in Tridell Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Val Gene Ross, of Bountiful, are the parents of a new son, born April 20th. PRIMARY CONFERENCE The Primary held its conference Sunday night with the theme, Wist Ye Not That I Must Be About My Father's Business? Visitors from the Primary stake presidency were: Mrs. Goodrich and Mrs. Sid-doway. Mrs. Loren Ross visited at the Val Ross hime in Bountiful last week. The Val Ross' returned with her Friday and visited over the weekend. Mrs. Ruth Harvey presented the Social Science lesson in Relief Re-lief Society Tuesday. Stake visitors vis-itors were present. |
