Show Three Bridges Will Be Duift With County Funds Building of two new bridges and completion of another is listed on the 1955 proposed program of expenditures for Class "B" and "C" road funds by Duchesne County. The three bridge projects call for an expenditure of $5,500.00 out of the total allocation of $54,-081.77. $54,-081.77. Location of the bridge to be completed with a $500.00 expenditure expen-diture is across the Lakefork River Riv-er near the Ray Moulton 'farm home in Arcadia on the boundary line between the two road supervisory super-visory Districts No. 1 and 2, supervised su-pervised by Duchesne County Commissioners Clinton J. Mickel-son Mickel-son and Floyd E. Lamb. For the construction of a new bridge across the Duchesne River in Utahn, a $3,000.00 fund was set up. This new bridge is near the farm homes of Melvin Broad-head Broad-head and Clarence Wright. A $2,000.00 expenditure is slated slat-ed for construction of a new bridge across the Lakefork River north and east of Mt. Home. Location Lo-cation of the bridge is in the center cen-ter of Sec. 19, Township 1 North, Range 4 West, Uintah Special Meridian. This new construction is in road supervisory District No. 3, supervised by Lyle L. Young, county commissioner. Building of this new bridge is planned in cooperation co-operation with the U. S. Forest Service and the U. S. Indian Department. De-partment. The cooperative project i was proposed inasmuch as this road is a route to the Yellowstone area in the Ashley National Forest and to adjacent Indian-owned lands. |
