Show Randleti Viola Jensen SCOUTS SEE FILM The Avalon Boy Scouts enjoyed a colored film Tuesday evening during their class period. Grant Pickup got the film from the Forest Service. , Mrs. Fahy Durfee and son, Richard and daughter, Dianna, took Mr. Durfee to Salt Lake City Monday to receive medical care. Mr. and Mrs. Norton Shelton and son, Duane, of Roosevelt, visited vis-ited Wednesday at the J. E. Jensen Jen-sen home. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Lewis and family were Roosevelt vis- j itors Wednesday. I Twenty-four young MIA people met Thursday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Lewis, where they enjoyed games and a pot-luck lunch. Primary officers and teachers attending at-tending Primary Preparation meeting meet-ing in Roosevelt, Saturday, were Donna Pickup, Jennie McMullin, Nellie Harris and Viola Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Jorgensen are the proud parents of a baby boy, born Wednesday morning at the Roosevelt Hospital. Mrs. Gladys Jarman has been cooking at the Avalon School in place of Mrs. Mary Young. Mrs. Young has been quite ill. Mrs. Jessie Pickup spent the weekend home with her family. Mrs. Pickup has been employed in Provo the past school year. Verl Moore, of Roosevelt, was an overnight guest, Wednesday of Benny Wall. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Wardle had their baby daughter named Sunday Sun-day in Sacrament meeting. Her Grandfather, Austin Wardle named and blessed her. Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Young had their new son blessed and named. His Grandfather Grand-father Rasmussen named him. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Rasmussen and family, of Lapoint, were visitors vis-itors at Sacrament meeting Sunday Sun-day afternoon. Merelene Marshall was graduated gradu-ated from the Primary and welcomed wel-comed into the YWMIA Sunday at Sacrament meeting. High Councilman Rulon Ander-ton Ander-ton was a stake visitor at Sunday Sun-day School and Sacrament meeting, meet-ing, Sunday. Mrs. Lula Dudley's Bee Hive girls met at her home Sunday afternoon and had a candy pull to sell at the picture show Monday Mon-day evening. The proceeds will go for the stake house building fund. Visitors at the J. E. Jensen home Sunday afternoon were: Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Lewis and family, fam-ily, and Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Jensen Jen-sen and boys. Mrs. Ethel Durfee and family went to Salt Lake City Friday to visit Mr. Durfee over the weekend. |
