Show Alcohol Studies At U Of U Planned For June The University of Utah announced an-nounced the fourth annual session of the Utah School of Alcohol Studies. The school will convene during the week of June 19 through 25. Collaberating with the University on this increasingly significant venture is the Utah State Board on Alcoholism and the Utah Alcoholism Foundation. The school has already grown to national importance, as is indicated in-dicated by the large number of students from many states throughout through-out the United States, Canada, and Mexico that have attended previous sessions. Many national- authorities will take part in the school as lecturers lectur-ers and staff. Featured speaker of the session will be Dr. Andrew C. Ivy, former president of the College Col-lege of Medicine of the University of Illinois, who now serves as vice-president of the University. Dr. Ivy is also chairman of the National Committee of Prevention of Alcoholism. A distinguished pharmacologist and medical scientist, scien-tist, Dr. Ivy has become an outstanding out-standing authority on the problem of pathology of alcohol, as well as the social implications of alcohol al-cohol use in excess.
