Show Junior Baseball Loop All Tied, Time Is Changed The Uintah Basin American Legion Junior baseball league is right back where they were when they started last week. Each team has won a game and lost one. The boys representing' Basin Post No. 64, Tuesday afternoon af-ternoon won a close, 8-6 game from Fort Duchesne, after having hav-ing been beaten last Friday at Vernal 10 to 7. Fort Duchesne beat Vernal on June 29, 15 to 10. The Roosevelt-Fort Duchesne game Tuesday was a close and well-played game, with the Basin Ba-sin Post kids scoring in each inning, with their big one being the sixth when they overcame a one-run deficit, to win the ball game. An error, a hit batsman bats-man and two consecutive doubles dou-bles by Ken Benson and Bruce Jensen, produced the three much needed runs and the ball game for the hosts at Roosevelt. He played Legion ball several years and later in semi-pro ranks in Carbon County. Coun-ty. Ken has handled the boys during their first two games while Rachele was on vacation.
