Show IOKA COUNTRY CLUB Ioka Country Club met at the home of Kent Robison, Wed., June 30. Tom Milburn led in the pledge of alligance and Gary Zobell led in the 4-H pledge. Minute roll was attended to'. We discused the calves to be given away by the Kiwanis club and the U. B. I. C. Our next meeting will be held at Scott Murdock's Monday July 12. DUCHESNE The meeting meet-ing of the squaws was July 1st at 2:00 p.m. held at the Fort Duchesne office where we elected elect-ed Marion Gardner, president; Maxine Harris, vice-president; Jeraldine Denver, sec.-treas.; Judy Sixkiller, 'reporter; and Rita Reed, song leader. Our projects for the summer will be clothing and sewing. We hope to have our sewing done and put on display during the U. B. I. C. Our leader, Mrs. Glenda ArroWehis stated that our next meeting will be Tuesday, Tues-day, July 6th at 1 p.m., to be held at Fort Duchesne. Judy Sixkiller, Reporter h-h-h-h The Roosevelt Homemakers Scrambled eggs and muffins were on the menu for the Roosevelt Homemakers, at the home of Joan Zimmerman on Friday, July 2, at 10:00. The muffins and eggs were cooked as a part of our project for our 4-H club this year. The meeting ' was presided over by Marilyn Winterton our nrpsident and instruction was given by our leader, Mrs. Axel Anderson. Our next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Orson Stevens, our assistant leader on Friday, July 9 at 10:00. Pam Harmston, Reporter h-h-h-h THE SIXETTES Last Wednesday our 4-H Club meeting was held at Mrs. Laura Dye's. Meeting was called to order by our vice-president, Wil-ma Wil-ma K. Dye. Health report was given by Wilma Dye. We learned learn-ed how to use eggs in different ways. Plans were made for our next meeting. Refreshments were served by our hostess, Linda Davis. Linda Davis, Reporter h-h-h-h MERRY MISSES On June 23, at 2 p.m. we met at the home of Sylvia Sullivan with our leader, Mary Hacking. Hack-ing. There were 11 of us present pres-ent We made bran muffins and nut muffins. After we baked them, we judged them to sec how good they were. Then we had fun. We ate what we had cooked. On June 30, at 2 p.m. we met at the home of Diane Timothy. We made corn meal muffins, plain muffins and raisin muffins. muf-fins. We are getting to be pretty good muffin makers.
