Mrs. Vere Johnson upon the arrival of a nine pound son, born June 24, in Gainesville, Florida, where Dr. Johnson is serving as a dentist with the U. S. armed forces. Congratulations to the proud parents. Let us know the name of the cute little-shaver, Johnsons. Visitors at the Marion Alexander Alex-ander home last week were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Alexander and Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Nickell, of Vernal. Previous visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Dave Alexander, of Hill Field. George Harrison returned to his home this week from the LDS Hospital, where he underwent under-went a serious operation. His son, Howard, reports that he is getting along fine. Mrs. Earl' Dillman's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Brixen, of Salt Lake City, were visitors at the Dillman home last week. Weekend visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Bertoch and children chil-dren of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Aral Allred left Wednesday for their , home in Farmington, New Mexico, after visiting relatives for a week. Miss Peggy Oldroyd, now employed em-ployed in Salt Lake City, enjoyed en-joyed the July 4th weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Oldroyd. Kent Angus spent ten days in Denver with his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Stroup. The Stroups, accompanied accom-panied by Kent, were visitors at the Cliff Angus home during the July 4th holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Alva Snow and family returned home Tuesday night after spending a week in St. George, where they attended attend-ed a family reunion. Returning home last week after af-ter a ten-day vacation trip to Washington and Oregon, were Mr. and Mrs. Louis Laris and Mr. and Mrs. Parley Rawlings and family. Recent visitors at the homes of Seth Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. Omni Winterton were the following: Mrs. Pitt Haynes and three children, of Petersburg, Virginia; Mrs. Daniel Brock and four children, of Los Angeles; Mr. and Mrs. Gale Wilson and son, from Los Angeles, and Mr. and Mrs. David Wilson and daughter, of Provo. |
