Show SEAGULL GIRL CLASS ENTERTAIN TEACHER The Seagull girls entertained their teacher, Mrs. Venice Dur- j fee and a Seagull classmate at a surprise birthday party Wed. evening at the Durfee home. Outdoor games were enjoyed on the lawn, after which Ice-cream and a birthday cake and punch were served. Mrs. Durfee and Janet were presented with a lovely gift. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marshall and family went to Salt Lake City to visit Mr. Marshall's father over the weekend. ' Mr. and Mrs. Garr Brough and family of Layton, Utah spent the weekend visiting relatives re-latives and friends here and in Roosevelt. The Baseball club played the Lions club Saturday and the MIA-Maids and Beehive girls played the married ladies, the married ladies won. Mr. and Mrs. Blake V. Peay and family went to Provo Sat. to attend a family reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Lewis and family, Mrs. Marion Shelton and son, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen Jen-sen and family enjoyed a trip to the mountains Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Orin Thomas of Sandy were weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Myron Brough. Mr. and Mrs. Von Harris and family and Mr. and Mrs. Max Peatrose of Salt Lake City were weekend visitors at the home of ' Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harris. I Linda Brough, the daughter I of Mr. and Mrs. Garr Brough of Layton, has been visiting here with relatives for the past week. Mrs. Marian Shelton and son, Duane of Roosevelt were weekend week-end visitors at the J. E. Jensen home. Mr. and Mrs. Franklin L. Jar-man Jar-man and son, Grant spent the past weekend visiting their 3 daughters and their fimilies, Mr. and Mrs. Ira E. Wilson of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, and Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Wilson of Chesterfield. Idaho' and Mr. and Mrs. John Tinker of Manila, Utah. Misses Veda Wall and Beatrice Chandler spent the weekend visiting here with their families. The girls are employed in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Rogers and family of Salt Lake City were weekend visitors ,here and in Vernal at the home of Mrs. Rogers parents. |
