Show LeetoeBeiMietf Mrs. Fern Houston Attend Funeral Mrs. Francis Bowen attended funeral services for her aunt, Mrs. Christanna Bisel at Bountiful, Boun-tiful, on Friday. The body was then taken to Woodland for buriel in the family lot, where her husband, Louis, is buried. Mrs. Bisel has resided at Hay-den Hay-den many years, where her 3 sons, Elliott, Lamore, and Harmon Har-mon reside. John Horrocks visited in Heber while Mrs. Francis Bowen attended the funeral of Mrs. Bisel. Dan Mitchell of Neola and Larry Moss of Salt Lake were the speakers. V. T. Rice of Bountiful, one of our old friends and residents, furnished all the music with one man as soloist. Relatives furnished a lunch for those who were at the burial plot at Woodland. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Murphy attended the funeral services for his aunt, Mrs. Christanna Bisel. DEER IN TOWN . A beautiful doe was seen feeding feed-ing in the field one mile north of Bennett and two nice buck crossed George Houston's garden; gar-den; on their way east to the river, on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hamaker of Price are visiting with his brother, Marvin. They are fishing fish-ing at the Lake this weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Don Palmer left for their home at Folsom, Calif. Saturday morning, after having spent three weeks visiting visit-ing the Winfred Long family. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tidwell were called to the Roosevelt Hospital Friday evening. His father who is 83 years, and has been in good health, was stricken with a stroke. The Bennett baseball team played ball at the celebration at Altamont Saturday. Miss Bonnie Perkins spent several days visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tidwell. Mr. and Mrs. Don Palmer were guests at a picnic party at the power plant in Uintah canyon can-yon Friday. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Duane Morrill Mor-rill of Tridell, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Long, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Labrum, The Winfred Long family and the honored guests. French style food was served. Mr. and Mrs.Lawrence Pike, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Springer, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Butcher and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tidwell spent the evening at the Jolly Corner picnic grounds Friday evening and enjoyed a weiner roast. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tidwell returned from Salt Lake where they took their daughter.Jo'an, for a medical check-up. It is reported the little bones in the hip are healing nicely. , Mr. and Mrs. Walter Forbes of Casper, Wyoming, visited last week at the home of Mrs. Nellie Witlock. Maxine Taylor gave a birth-I birth-I day party inviting all the teenagers teen-agers of the neighborhood. They gave a weiner roast and marsh-mallow marsh-mallow roast and played games on the meadow. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Johnson of Vernal were callers at the Mrs. Nellie Whitlock home last I week. i |
