Show Pay Off Debts And Sell Bonds Homer Robinson, Myton City Treasurer, and Wilmer Murray, Myton City councilman, made a business trip to Salt Lake City Wed. to complete a Myton City water bonds transaction with the RFC. They paid off the bonded indebtedness with "that branch and sold the remaining bonds to the State of Utah. The transaction cut the Myton City bonded indebtedness almost in half, which will materially decrease de-crease the future monthly payments. pay-ments. Miss Darlene Smith who is attending a Beauty Culture School in Salt Lake City is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Smith. She arrived ar-rived Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Lavar Peterson left Thursday to enjoy a camping camp-ing trip' in Uintah Canyon during dur-ing the July 4th weekend. Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Swann returned re-turned home Friday from a six weeks vacation. They visited their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Kelly and family at San Louis Obispo, Calif., A sister at Fresno and Mr. Swann's only brother at Firebaugh, Calif, and vacationed at Lake Tahoe. They report a most enjoyable trip. Mr. Swann is supervisor at the Rangely Salt Lake pipe line pump station sta-tion on South Myton Bench. HOLD FOOD SALE The Ladies Aid of the Presbyterian Pres-byterian church held a food sale Friday. Delicious pies, cakes, cookies, etc. were on hand to please the rush of customers. They report a nice sum was raised by the venture. Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Clark have received word from their son, Ned, that he is now stationed station-ed at the Marine Base at San Diego and is very happy in his duties. Ned enlisted in the U. S. Marines, June 18th. |
