Show Babies Get Names Three babies were christened last Sunday during Fast Day services. From Salt Lake City came Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jensen and two daughters, to have the heir of the family named Michael Mich-ael Ray," by ,his grandfather, Lionel Jensen. Another grandfather, grand-father, George Leavitt, bestowed bestow-ed the name of "Jill" on his new granddaughter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Bastian. "Debra" is the name of the new daughter of Mr. and Mrs. and Mrs. Duane Peterson, who came from Orem for the event, and also to' visit relatives here. Charles Crozier, great-uncle oi the little girl officiated at the christening. Thirty-five members of the family of Mrs. Samantha Peterson Peter-son gathered at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joe Duncan, last Sunday. Included were: Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Jesson and two sons, of Richmond, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Mecham and family, Mr. and Mrs. Reid Peterson Pet-erson and children, from Pittsburg, Pitts-burg, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Le-land Le-land Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Peterson, with their families, fam-ilies, of Neola. Mrs. Palmira Peterson, Mrs. Lillian Wilkerson and Mrs. Zora Gardner, who are attending attend-ing summer school, spent the weekend here. Visitors at the Ferris Henrie home last week were Mrs. Matt Zager and son, Clyde, of Murray; Mur-ray; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Zager and daughter, of Denver, Colo. Miss Dorothy Peterson returned return-ed to Salt Lake City last Monday Mon-day evening, after spending a few days here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Peterson. Burial was in the Preston cemetery under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary of Roosevelt. |
