Show Therlow Fcnn Weds florth Dakota Miss In June Rites Marriage rites were performed perform-ed Friday, June 11, at 7:30 p.m. for Miss Marion George and Mr. Thurlow Fenn, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Fenn of Roosevelt. Roos-evelt. The new bride is the daughter of Mrs. Sadie George, of Williston, North Dakota. Officiating in the double ring candlelight ceremrmv whirh took place in The Church oi the Nazarene in Williston, was Rev. Vernon H. Willard. . Given in marriage by her mother, the bride wore a gown of lace over satin, with a high collar and long sleeves. Her full-length full-length veil cascaded, from a half crown of lillies of the valley, val-ley, and she carried a white Bible, topped with red roses and lilly of the valley streamers. stream-ers. Attending the bride as maid of honor was Miss Lillian Mo-line, Mo-line, who chose an orchid formal for-mal gown. Sisters of the bride were bridesmaids, including Miss Lillian George, who wore yellow, and Miss Rosie George who was attired in blue. Their corsages were of deep pink carnations. car-nations. Best man was Robert Hyde and ushers were Fred Hester and Melvin Behrman. Parents Par-ents of the groom were unable to attend. A reception honoring the newlyweds was held in the Baptist church basement, where bouquets of lilacs decorated the tables, and the three-tiered wedding wed-ding cake was topped with a miniature bridal couple. Vocal solos were sung by Lillian George and Kenneth Kiihn, accompanied by Mrs. Thomas Yockim. Mrs. George Boeckes had charge of the guest book and Eulavaghn Forthum of the gift tables; Arlene Hanson, and Mrs. Kenneth Kiihn cut the wedding cake; Mrs. Eli Lind-holm, Lind-holm, Mrs. Alvin Hanson, Mrs. Htarry Daniels and Betty Bratcher, aunts of the bride, poured, and Mrs. Dabby Abdo, also an aunt, served at the bridal brid-al table. The new Mrs. Fenn graduated gradu-ated from Williston High School and attended Northwest Nazarene Naza-rene College. She has been employed em-ployed at the F. W. Woolworth Co.
