Show School Programs A program was presented Monday Mon-day in Mr. Hul.linger's room to observe National Education Week. A special program was presented each day during the week, and parents were invited to visit their chldren's class rooms. Mr. Edward's room presented the assembly program Friday afternoon. after-noon. Cookies and cider were served to the patents who visited school. Miss Donna Land was an overnight over-night visitor Monday at the home of Joyce Jensen. WORK MEETING The Relief Society work meeting meet-ing was held Tuesday in the recreation re-creation hall. A quilt was worked on, and articles for the Relief Society bazaar were made. Mrs. J. E. Jensen spent Wednesday Wed-nesday in Vernal visiting at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Lucy Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. William T. Chandler Chand-ler entertained the following last week in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Morten Chandler: Mr. and Mrs. Tex Ross and family of Ballard, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Turner and family, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Chandler and family and Mr. and Mrs. Bryce Searle and family. A delicious supper was enjoyed. Mr and Mrs. John Newman and family and Mrs. Mamie Chandler of Salt Lake City spent the weekend week-end visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William T. Chandler. Mr. Newman enjoyed hunting while here. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Nebeker and son of Odgen spent the weekend week-end at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Nebeker. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon J. Lewis and family of Layton spent the weekend visiting at the J. E. Jensen Jen-sen home. Mr. and Mrs. Norton Shelton and son also visited at the Jensen home. The following couples went to Salt Lake City Sunday: Mr. and Mrs. Leo Jorgensen, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Chandler, Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Lewis and Mr. and Mrs. Blake Peay, Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Garr Brough and family of Layton spent the weekend week-end visiting at the Wayne Pickup home. Mr. Brough enjoyed the pheasant hunt. I Mr. and Mrs.. Preston Searle and family were dinner guests Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar, Jensen. Speakers at Sacrament meeting Sunday afternoon were Snelon Johnson, Clyde Collins and Paul Murphy. Mrs. Fayellen Barlow and son, Danny, and Richard Durfee of Salt Lake City spent the weekend visiting at the home of their par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. Fahy Durfee. Mr. and Mrs. George Brough j have moved back to their ranch. ' The Broughs have been living in j Randlett. ' |
