Show VIIITEROCKS Madeena Smith Mrs. Nellie Merkley, of Logan, is visiting her daughtervMrs. Madeena Ma-deena Smith, this week. Mrs. Lynn Hardy and children visited in Tridell Monday, while the school employees were doing some repair work on their house. The Wilmer Parrish family visited vis-ited at the Smith home, Sunday Mrs. Gene Walkup, of Salt Lake is visiting at the George Walkup home this week. Chester Smith was home two days this week from his work in Tabiona. Mr. and Mrs. Gale Rasmussen took a load of furniture to Salt Lake, Sunday, for Mrs. Delia Francis, who is making her home there at present. SCHOOL PROGRAM The school gave a program at the church house on Wednesday for National Education Week. The program was enjoyed by a large group of parents from Tridell and Whiterocks. Henry Cuch, of Fort Duchesne, is instructing a group of Indian boys in football. The class is held each Wednesday afternoon on the school lawn. Mrs. J. O. Hoops, Velda Ander-ton, Ander-ton, Mildred Moosman and Beatrice Reed were Roosevelt visitors on Thursday. Mrs Ednal Simmons worked in the school lunch room on Friday, taking Paul Robb's place. The Levi Reed family, of Manila, Man-ila, is visiting the Hoops families here this week. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Swartz and Merlin Simmons, of Orem, visited the Don Simmons during the pheasant season. The' Gale Rasmussen family has moved this week into the Delia Francis house for the winter. The Morlan Harvey family, of Baggs, Wyoming, and Esther Harvey Har-vey of Tridell, visited Wednesday at the Bill. Hoops' home. The Calvin Anderton family, of Dugway, visited the Leland Moosman Moos-man family during the pheasant hunt. Howard B. Allen, of the Episcopal Episco-pal Church here 'in Whiterocks, visited in Provo over the Armistice Armis-tice weekend. Mrs. Roberta Crozier and children chil-dren visited the Elbert Smiths on Sunday. The Leo Searles family and Gene Weeks, of Salt Lake, visited this week with the Ruben Russell family and joined in the pheasant hunt. Garth Anderton, of Tooele, visited vis-ited the Eldon Anderton family over the weekend. The Petro Forakis family, of Salt Lake, were visiting their par ents here and in Lapoint over the weekend Mrs. Edith Oberhansly brought her husband, Duane Oberhansly, home from a hopsital' in Salt Lake on Saturday. Mr. Oberhansly is improving im-proving very nicely from his operation. oper-ation. Virgil Robb went to the mountains moun-tains Sunday evening to care for his horses at the mill and reports he found about a foot of snow there. We are enjoying about three inches of snow here at Whiterocks this Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Art Allen went to Salt Lake Sunday, nd will spend a few days on business. Mr. and Mrs. T. H. York, of Tampa, Florida, are here to make their home. They are Baptist missionaries mis-sionaries assigned to this part of the country. |
