Show Relief Society Has Conference Relief Society conference was held Sunday night with President Christa Ross conducting and giving giv-ing a report on the year's work. Theme of the conference was "The Road to Peace." Ruth Goodrich gave a talk, "Peace in the Home." This was followed by the song, "Or Lord, Most Merciful," by the Singing Mothers; talk, by Habe'n Hunt," Peace In the World;" talk by Doris Walker from the stake board; talk, by Bishop Goodrich; song, "Peace I Leave With You," by the Singing Mothers. The Primary held their teachers' training class at the home of Esther Es-ther Harvey Monday night. Ray Haslem and Rae Goodrich made a trip to Salt Lake, Monday of this week. Mrs. Marvin Olsen, Jr. and daughters have been visiting at the J. G. Warrens Mrs. Laren Ross was substitute cook at the Whiterocks School last week for Paul Robb. Mr. and Mrs. Orlan Oman came in Friday evening after their son, who has been staying with his grandparents, the Clares Glines. The Omans are making their home in Salt Lake City. Christa Ross, Vida McKee and Theora Warren attended "A Xmas Idea Display," presented by the Relief Societies of all the wards, held at the stake center in Vernal, Saturday. Margaret Alhandra spent the weekend visiting with LaDonna McKee. Elaine Sonicutt visited with Lorrine McKee over the weekend. BOARD VISITS MIA The stake MIA board were visitors vis-itors at Mutual Tuesday night. Mildred and Grant Hacking, stake dance directors, gave dance instructions in-structions at the close of Mutual. |
