Show Mrs. Garda Seeley Relief Society Leaders Honored Relief Society work day was spent just a little differently than the usual work day. Besides quilting quilt-ing a beautifully painted quilt for Mrs. Eloyce AlLred, time was spent in painting various articles and hair styling and cutting. The lesson les-son was presented by Cleona Remington. Rem-ington. Also, Mrs. Agnes Larsen and Mrs. Jennie Goodrich, outgoing out-going presidency each were presented pre-sented with a beautiful pin and a book. A lovely lunch was served by Relief Society visiting teachers, Vivian Powell and Edna Bird. There were 32 members present. Mrs. Betty Lou Goodrich of Roosevelt and Mrs. Ed Miles of Mt. Emmons were visiting. Mrs. Jennie Goodrich, Mrs. Gar-da Gar-da Seeley and Janet Seeley attended at-tended the wedding reception at 'Boneta on Saturday evening for Mr. and Tvlrs. Bob Lundell. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Pierson and son, of Salt Lake-City, spent the weekend here visiting with relatives. rela-tives. George Wathen and three boys, Darwin, Noian and Dennis, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend here visiting with friends and relatives. They were guests of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Powell. Those attsnding the Moon Lake stake Relief Society work meeting at Mt. Emmons on Saturday afternoon after-noon from Bluebell were, Berneice Atwood, Loretta Murray, Laura Seeley, ' Lois Goodrich, Vivian Powell and Zella Goodrich. Demonstrations Dem-onstrations were given on making Christmas presents. Mrs. Zella Goodrich, Mrs. Jennie Brotherson and Mrs. Margaret Maxfield demonstrated dem-onstrated the articles they learned how to make out at Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Afton Seeley and Jimmie and Floy, of Salt Lake, visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Seeley. Mr. and Mrs. Alton Thacker and baby, Kim, visited on Saturday and Sunday vith Mr. and Mrs. Walter Remington. ATTEND PARENTS' DAY The following parents attended Parents' Day at Altamont, Wednesday: Wed-nesday: Sophronia Jenkins, Alta Bird, Irene Barrett, Lois Goodrich, Hazel. Goodrich, Edith Gale, Lucile Winkler, Velma Monsen, Edna Bird, Grace Cook, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bird, Mr. and Mrs Monte Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Lis-onbee, Lis-onbee, Vivian Powell, Thelma Cook, Cleona Remington, Alice Mathews, Garda Seeley, Zella Goodrich, Agnes Larsen, Mrs. Pherson, Berneice Atwood, Venice Mecham, Nellie Thomas, Arsula Bird. Mrs. Maxine Todd and son, Gregory, Gre-gory, came home Friday after spending the past three weeks in Bountiful with the Farrell Mohl-mans. Mohl-mans. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Richman and Gregory and Helen spent Saturday Sat-urday and Sunday visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gardner Goodrich, and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Richman at ' Roosevelt. |
