Show CARL ANTHON LERDAHL Funeral services were held yesterday, yes-terday, Nov. 16 at the Imperial LDS ward chapel in Salt Lake City for Carl Anthon Lerdahl, 63, father of Harry Lerdahl, who died at 1:30 p.m. Monday at' a Salt Lake hospital after an illness. He was born Oct. 16, 1892, in Oslo, Norway to Carl and Karen Lerdahl'. He married Valborg Nil-sen, Nil-sen, Feb. 8, 1917, in the SalrLake Temple. Was a high priest- in the Imperial LDS ward. He was employed as maintenance mainten-ance man by the LDS church and a member of Scandia Male Chorus, active in Norwegian LDS Organization. Organi-zation. Mr. Lerdahl is survived by his widow; the following daughters and sons: Mrs. Lillian Marie Kettle, Ket-tle, Mrs. Inez Lucille Barron, Ralph and Floyd Lerdahl, Salt Lake City;. Harry Lerdahl, Roosevelt; and 16 grandchildren. JOSHUA WASHINGTON WHITEROCK Funeral services were held Sunday in the St. Elizabeth Eliza-beth Episcopal church in White-rocks White-rocks at noon for Joshua Washington, Wash-ington, 75 who died Nov. 10 in the Roosevelt LDS Hospital after a brief illness. Rev. Howard Allen conducted the services. Born at Whiterocks in 1889, a son of George and Annetta Washington, Wash-ington, he married Polly Clara Gardner. She died in 1905. He later lat-er married Evelyn Mountain. She died three years ago. Survivors are one son, Bert Washington, Grantsville; 2 grandchildren; grand-children; brother and sister, Booker Book-er T. Washington, and Mrs. Victoria Vic-toria Cuch, Whiterocks. Burial was in the Whiterocks cemetery under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary. |
