Show Return From Trip Mr and Mrs. W. H. Linck t inck and daughter, Margo, returned re-turned home Saturday from an Ivtended visit in Watertown, N. Y New York City. Washington, fV'c Chicago, and other points. Thev'attended the National Convention Con-vention of the National Association Associa-tion of Star Route Mail Carriers in Watertown and then enjoyed a vacation trip to eastern points of interest. Mr and Mrs. Merlyn Reynolds Rey-nolds and Miss Nancy Todd attended at-tended the Rodeo' in Heber last Friday. Mrs. R. C. Walker and her daughter, Jean, came from Salt Lake City Sunday morning to spend the day with Mr. Walker who is employed as timekeeper on the highway project. While here they were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish. Mrs. Wilmer Murray, Mrs. Jesse Allen, Mrs. Nathan Allen, Mrs. E. A. Call, Mrs. Forrest Hancock, Mrs. Ole Peterson, Mrs. Austin Brokaw, Mrs. Loyal Perry, Mrs. Glen Gilbert, Mrs. tt-s Owen Burgess, Mrs. Earl Ging-ell, Ging-ell, and Mrs. Elbert Chandler attended the two-stake Relief Society convention in Roosevelt Wednesday. CHAPERONE GIRLS Miss LuDean Anderson and Miss Iona Snyder were in charge of a group of girls of the Myton M.I.A. who vacationed at the Miles-Allen stake home in the Uintah Cayon from Wednesday until Friday. La Rae Bywater Elaine Chandler, Jean Chandler, Mary Ellen Giles, Sheril Rich-ens, Rich-ens, Yvonne Herbert, Joyce Gin-gell, Gin-gell, and Inez Burgess were the lucky girls who participated in the ounting. Owen Mathisen celebrated her tenth birthday anniversary on Wednesday, August 12, when all members of the family gathered gath-ered for a jolly family dinner with all the trimmings. THURSDAY CLUB MEETS Mrs. Antone Uresk entertained entertain-ed members of the Thursday Club at her ranch home, Thursday Thurs-day evening. Present were Mrs. Rex Lamb. Mrs. John Uresk, Mrs. Dee Iorg, Mrs Frank Uresk Ur-esk and Mrs. A. C. Tolboe, to enjoy a pleasant evening and delicious refreshments. The next club meeting will be held at j the home of Mrs. Iorg. HOSTESS TO CLUB Mrs. Floyd Lamb was hostess to' the Friday Bridge Club at her home in Roosevelt, Friday afternoon, when club members entertained at a luncheon complimentary com-plimentary to Mrs. Joseph Woolf, who left Sunday for her new home in Washington. Mrs. Homer Robinson, Mrs. Bliss Lott, Mrs. Ted Thomas, Miss Alice Todd, Mrs. Rex Lamb, Mrs. James Dalgleish, Mrs. R. H. Burdick, Mrs. Lamb and the honor guest participated in an afternoon of bridge, with high score prize awarded to Mrs. Rex Lamb and guest prize presented pre-sented to Mrs. Woolf. Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Mortensen Sr., S. F. Mortensen, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck and Mr. and Mrs. Levi Mortensen were Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lamb. Miss Alice Todd. Mrs. Arnold Gates and small son and A. M. Todd were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ferron in Roosevelt, Roose-velt, Sunday. DINNER GUESTS Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson, Robin-son, Mrs. Bliss Lott, Mrs. R. H. Burdick, Miss Alice Todd, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck, Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Mortensen. Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lamb and Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lamb at their home in Roosevelt, Sunday evening. Bridge was enjoyed during the evening with prizes awarded to Mrs. Rex. Lamb, Mr. and Mrs. Linck and Mr. Mortensen. Mrs. R. H. Burdick arrived last week from Ft. Meyers, Fla. to spend the summer with her sister, Mrs. Bliss Lott. While en-route en-route to Myton, Mrs. Burdick visited her daughter, Mrs. Louie Barbe, Jr., at Lake Charles, Louisiana. Weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Mortensen, Morten-sen, Sr. were Mr. Mortensen's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Mortensen, of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Emery Smith and young son, Lee, of Deep Creek, visited at the A. M. Todd home Saturday, Satur-day, to spend the afternoon with Mrs. Arnold Gates, who is visiting visit-ing here from Garden City. N. Y. Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish went to Salt Lake City Tuesday where Mrs. Dalgleish received medical attention to check on her condition following recent surgery. |
