Show Neck Injured , While Swimming Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Allred received word their daughter, Mrs. Charley Allred. of Range-ly, Range-ly, Colo., had received a badly kinked neck while swimimng. It was thought her neck was broken brok-en at first and she was taken to Grand Junction, Colo., where X-rays were taken. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson of Talmage attended Sacrament meeting Sunday, August 9. Mr. Thompson was the speaker. Mrs. Clarence Smith visited her sister in Heber last week. Mr. and Mrs. John Saris of Salt Lake City spent the weekend week-end visiting with Mr. Saris' brother, W. E. Clark, a sister, Mrs. Harold Morris, and an uncle, George Mecham. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe attended the Beebe reunion on Wolf Creek Pass August 9. A large crowd of people of Altonah and surrounding towns attended the wedding dance for Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Dump in the Legion Hall Saturday night. The Reese Timothy orchestra or-chestra from Roosevelt furnished furnish-ed the music. Dorrant Freston of Roosevelt was vaccinating cattle for Bangs in this area. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hack-ford Hack-ford of Lapoint visited with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rochel Sunday. Those visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Clark and Mr. and Mrs. Fenton Powell over the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Ivin Karren, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Clark and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jhon Clark and family, Mr. and Mrs. Smuin and family of Bonanza, Bon-anza, and Mr. and Mrs. Nick Tallerico and daughter Mary Lue of Dragefton. Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Stone and family of Salt Lake City spent a few days with Mrs. Stones parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Smith during the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Jessen made a trip to Salt Lake City Monday. Judy Jessen returned with them to visit for a couple of weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Carl J. Searle of Odgen were overnight guests of Mrs. Searle's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe last Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Parley Lambert and daughter Nancy and Mrs. Madsen of Boneta called at tke home of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Glade Timothy and family attended the Barrett family reunion at Draper park August 8 and 9. They also attended at-tended the Uintah Basin reunion reun-ion at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City Sunday. August 9. Mr. Bill Kildren from Virginia, A.R.E.A. field man, accompan- ied them. They spent Saturday night with Mr. and Mrs. George Berrett in Murray. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Carroll and son Tommy of Murray visited vis-ited relatives over the weekend. Some time ago a horse fell with Glade Timothy and injured his foot. He is still walking on crutches. |
