A reception and dance honored the newlyweds last Friday night at Myton. Hevvlyiveds Feted At Reception And Dance Friday MYTON Newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Pulos, were honored last Friday evening at a reception and dance at the Myton LDS ward chapel. The young couple, who returned from their honeymoon Thursday, Thurs-day, were showered with congratulations con-gratulations and good wishes and presented with many lovely and useful gifts by the large group of friends who gathered for the occasion. Dancing and refreshments were enjoyed. The lovely brunette bride greeted guests in a wedding gown of slipper satin, designed with a fitted bodice having a yoke of Chantilly lace, with a matching lace peplum at the waist. Her fingertip veil cascaded cascad-ed from a fan-shaped crown of orange blossoms, also edged with Chantilly lace. Her bridal bouquet was of red roses and white carnations tied with white satin streamers. The Misses Jenene Harris and Carol Taylor, attendants, were attired in pastel pink gowns of net and taffeta and each had a corsage of white carnations centered cen-tered with a single rose. Also in the receiving line were the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Frandsen, of Myton, My-ton, and parents of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. George Pulos, of Roosevelt. The bride's mother chose and afternoon dress of rose biege while the groom's mother wore a pale blue crepe. Mrs. Pulos had a corsage of pink gladioli and Mrs. Frand-sen's Frand-sen's was of white gladioli. Assisting with the gifts were Mrs. Charles Boyer, Mrs. Kirk Benson and Mrs. Jack Muir. In charge of refreshments were Mrs. Wilmer Murray, Mrs. Loyal Loy-al Perry, Mrs. Elbert Chandler and Mrs. Earl Gingell, with the following girls assisting with the serving: Miss Maria Pulos, Miss Gay Patry, Miss Carol Memmott, Miss Nancy Rock-wood, Rock-wood, Miss Maurine Ivory and Miss Beoma Moore. Pogram numbers were presented pre-sented by the following: vocal solo, Miss Alice Smith, accompanied accom-panied by Miss Sally Burgess; vocal solo, Ray Johnstun, accompanied ac-companied by Miss Joanne Todd; and piano solo, Miss Carol Memmott. The newlyweds left Monday for Camp Jordan, Georgia, where Mr. Pulos is stationed with the U. S. armed forces. |
