Show LeetonBeiinetf Mrs. Fern Houston Mr. and Mrs. Dick Coltharp attended the wedding of her brother, Jimmy Nichols, at Rangely, Colo, last week. On Friday, at the home of Mrs. Jay Larsen, Lila Larsen, Fern Oberhansly, Dawn Huber, and Virgina Houston and Dean Jennings met to visit and honor Mrs. Jane Zimmerman, who is here visiting her parents, the Jay Larsens.. Fawn Coltharp and Mrs. Stof-fer, Stof-fer, of Abolene, Kansas, motored motor-ed to Rangely for a few days visit with friends. Word comes from Mrs. Frances Fran-ces Bowen that she is enjoying her trip to points of interest in the east, with the group from the B.Y.U. Miss Bertha Bolton entertain-, entertain-, ed the young group from Bennett Ben-nett at a lawn party Thursday eveninff at. hpr Vinmo Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Coltharp are in Salt Lake City this week on business. Mr. and Mrs. Peaslee and son and daughters of Salt Lake City visited with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hall, last week and also with uncles, Carl and Louie Hall and families. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Haslem are the proud grandparents of another grandson, born Aug. 13 to Mr. and Mrs. Ray Haslem. Mrs. Gertrude Meggs, of Salt Lake City, visited with her parents, par-ents, the John Halls, this past week. Mrs. Sarah Case, of Vernal, visited at the Otis Horrocks home Monday. Attending two-stake Relief Society convention in Roosevelt, Wednesday were, Doris Haslem, Betty Bolton, Nellie Horrocks, Mary Bolton and Joyce Bolton. Spencer Squires and Seth As-ay, As-ay, of Ballard, were visitors at Priesthood meeting here Sunday in the interest of the Elders. Mr. and Mrs. Quentin Litster, of Salt Lake City, visited with the Carl Hall family Saturday. Kenneth Long has gone to California with his sister and family, the Don Palmers, for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Larson, of Oakland, Calif., visited at the Winfred Long home Saturday. They were returning from Maryland, where they attended the wedding of a granddaughter. Mrs. Larson is Mrs. Long's sister. sis-ter. Clinton and Ronald Thompson of Providence, were weekend visitors at the home of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mer-vin Mer-vin Bolton. Bertha Bolton rode out to' Salt Lake City with them to visit her sister, Lola Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Winfred Long and daughters, Lorraine and Beverly, returned home Sunday from Yellowstone Park, where they met a daughter and sister-in-law, the Don Palmers, from Roseville, Calif., who came home with them and spent four days visiting before returning to California. The Don Palmers, Winfred Longs, Norman Longs, Blaine Morrills and Lynn Labrums all had a very enjoyable outing on the river last Thursday. Mrs. Fern Houston and daughter, daugh-ter, Ardith Gray, and Belle ! Harmston made a business trip ' to Salt Lake City, Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Haslem, of Vernal, were visitors at the ( Clair Haslem home Sunday. i Mrs. Doris Haslem is writing the Bennett news while Mrs. Fern Houston is visiting in California. |
