Show F.Irs. Ed Hart Will Celebrate 84th Anniversary MYTON (Special) The 84th birthday anniversary of Mrs. Ed Hart will be celebrated Friday, Fri-day, Feb. 19th at the Hart home in Duchesne, when their only daughter, Mrs. James Dalgleish, of Myton, will entertain immediate im-mediate members of the family during the afternoon. The celebration of her birthday birth-day will be a quiet one because of Mrs. Hart's frail health. She was born Feb. 19, 1870, at Neilsville, Wisconsin, a daugh-te daugh-te of Richard and Eliza Jane Wilson Boone. It was there she met and later married Ed Hart, April 15, 1889. They moved to Aspen, Colorado in the early 1900's and. resided there till 1910. Coming to the Uintah Basin, Mr. Hart filed on a homestead on the Blue Bench and Mrs. Hart had the opportunity oppor-tunity to be one of the early pioneers of this district. She was assistant postmaster under Wm. Fitzwater and later assisted assist-ed her husband in a general mercantile store. Mr. Hart built and operated the Hart Tourist Cabins where Mrs. Hart assisted him until 1945 when they sold the property proper-ty and retired. They moved to Springville and then to Salt Lake City but returned to Duchesne Du-chesne about 1947 to make their home. Mrs. Hart suffered a fractured hip in August, 1952, and has been slowly recovering from the operation, but now is able to get around quite nicely. Her sister, Mrs. Eleanor LaBronte, of Salt Lake City, and her niece, Mrs. Del Combs, of Tal-mage, Tal-mage, will participate in the celebration along with Mr. Hart. |
