Show Collect Pennies The annual Primary Birthday collection took place Thursday night, Feb. 11. The Primary officers of-ficers and teachers enjoyed a delicious chili supper at the home of Mrs. Laird McConkie afterwards. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Case and Gaye visited Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Sprouse, of Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Volney Boswell entertained weekend guests from Tremonton, Mr. and Mrs. j Max Clark and from Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Boswell. Bos-well. While they were here Mr. Boswell blessed his little granddaughter, grand-daughter, Julie Ann Clark. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Stevenson Steven-son were in Salt Lake City, Wednesday and Thursday of last week. Mrs. Lynn Nebeker accompanied accom-panied by her sister-in-law, and mother-in-law, visited in Salt Lake City, Tuesday, Feb. 16. Joe Young, of Clearfield, visited vis-ited with Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Ber-nard Dastrup, Saturday and Sunday. Dr. P. T. Farnsworth and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Farnsworth were in Salt Lake City last weekend. Miss Lorraine Dastrup and her fiance, Joe Perkins, of Smithfield, were house guests of Mr. and Mrs. LaFarge Dastrup Das-trup over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hislop and their son, Paul, visited with relatives in Helper, last Saturday Satur-day and Sunday. Mrs. Max Hartman and Mrs. Grant Hansen attended the Guide-Teacher meeting held at Duchesne, Thursday, Feb. 11, under the direction of Floyd Loveridge, Utah Scout executive. execu-tive. Mr. and Mrs. Ken LaRose attended the wedding dance at Ft. Duchesne for Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Chapoose, Sr., Friday, Feb. 12. Mr. and Mrs. Anthon Rust and Melba were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. LeGrande Mecham, of Mt. Home, Sunday. Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing were: Carl Anderson, Grant Monsen and David Gailey. Mr. and Mrs. .Kelly Sprouse, of Roosevelt, visited their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Case, Sunday. Blake Rust spent several days last week with his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Mecham, Mech-am, of Mt. Home. Mrs. Evan Bennion, Mrs. Cloyd Powell and Mrs. Roy Rust accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Rust, of Bluebell, to Le-hi, Le-hi, where they visited with the Powells one day, then attended a funeral on Monday for Mrs. Roy Rust's brother, R. J. Brae-ken. |
