Shelby Lisonbee To Aid Ward Building Fund On Wednesday, Feb. 24th the Bridgeland. ward building committee com-mittee is sponsoring some boxing box-ing and wrestling matches at the Uinta Sales Barn. All proceeds pro-ceeds are for the building fund. Mr. and Mrs. Abe Liddell, of Roosevelt, visited Sunday with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Liddell. Mr. and Mrs. Rae Smith and children, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Alma Smith. On Saturday the Srniths visited with Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Law-rence Young at Altamont and Mr. and Mrs. William Abplan-alp Abplan-alp at Utahn. Mrs. Myril Smith entertained Wednesday at a quilting at her home. Entertaining the ladies of her neighborhood. Mrs. Ethel Taylor is visiting her children at Craig, Colorado. She will be a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Glade Taylor and Mr. and Mrs. Orson Rawlins while there. Word has been received by Mr. and Mrs. Elden Brady that their son, Lloyd, has reached Germany, where he will be stationed with the armed forces. Mrs. Lloyd Brady, of Tabiona, visited Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Elden Brady. Little Ann Young, of Altamont, Alta-mont, is a guest of her grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Smith. Jay and Fred Marchant, of Peoa, visited one day last week with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Van Tassell and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Van Tassell. Jay is a brother of Mrs. Carl and Mrs. Glenn Van Tassell and Fred is a cousin. cou-sin. ; PRESENT PROGRAM The Seminary class of the Roosevelt Jr. High School presented pre-sented a very inspiring program at Sacrament meeting, under the direction of their Seminary teacher, Melvin Peterson. |
