Show 1fpafco uemo Williams Leaves To Join Husband In England Mrs. Jane Thompson and her children, who have spent the past two' monehs with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Walt Anderson, And-erson, leijt Sunday for Salt Lake City where they will board the train for New York i City. From there they will join I Captain Thompson and make i their home for the next two years. Mr. and Mrs. Noel Peterson, of Kamas, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Potts and family during dur-ing the week. A farewell party was held for Gayle Williams Feb. 9th at the Upalco ward hall with a large crowd attending. Those attending the ball game at Tabiona between Tabby and Altamont were Lemo Williams, lone Mitchell, Nona Mitchell, and Carma Fausett. Mr. and Mrs. Hank Swain and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cum-mings, Cum-mings, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Cum-mings Cum-mings attended the show at Altamont. Al-tamont. Bill Mathews visited in Salt Lake City and Riverton during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Ames and son of Salt Lake visited with Mr. and Mrs. Claude Iorg and family over the weekend. Mr. Delbert Davies also Mr. and Mrs. Wiford Thompson of Talmage were speakers at the Church in Upalco Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Potts and daughters of Duchesne visited vis-ited with Mr. and Mrs. Percy Potts of Upalco. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Evans and family of Roosevelt visited with Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Mitchell Mitch-ell and family recently. Mr. and Mrs. Harley Evans of Upalco visited with Mr. and Mrs. Scott Lusty and family of Arcadia Sunday. Bishop and Mrs. Lee Potts and Oscar Neilson, Sr. attended Union meeting at Mt. Emmons. Mrs. Orie Cook, of Bluebell, visited her mother, Mrs. Bertha Angus, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Horrocks, of Salt Lake City, were visitors at the home of Mrs. Horrocks' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fausett, Fau-sett, recently. Wesley Washburn, of Spanish Span-ish Fork, spent Wednesday and Thursday with his mother, Mrs. Olive Sorensen. Mrs. Etta Webb visited the Myton Primary last week. Marion Alexander, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, was a business visitor in Ioka Friday. Virgil Ferguson has sold his farm and is moving his family to Riverton, Utah, where they will make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Shelton and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Har-old Anderson, all of Roosevelt, were dinner guests of their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Anderson, Ander-son, Sunday. Lloyd Jensen made a trip to Salt Lake City, Saturday, to' see his wife and son, Lewis, who is ill in the LDS Hospital. His condition was reporeed not good. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Bracken and children, of Ballard, spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. Bracken's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Percival. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Gingell, of Myton, were callers at the Virgil Vir-gil Ferguson home, Saturday. VALENTINE PARTY Regina Reay entertained a few of her young friends at a Valentine party at her home Sunday afternoon. Those who enjoyed the afternoon were: Ilia Vaye Lemon, Evelyn Fausete, Louise Gentry, Ramona Campbell, Camp-bell, Kent Robison, Clive Campbell, Camp-bell, Tommy Milburn and John Percival. |
