Show gallant Mrs. Ellen Bracken Phone 62062 Young Couple Married Last Week Miss Pearl Kettle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kettle, was married to Ellis Anderson, of Bear River City. The ceremony cere-mony was performed at the home of the bride's grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Whit-more, Whit-more, at Neola, last week. They were married by Bishop Richard Rich-ard Olsen. The young couple will reside in Ogden. ! . Marvin Tippett, of Gusher, ! was appointed as custodian of j Alterra school, at the school board meeting in Vernal last Tuesday. Mr. Tippett replaced Vaughn Simper, who has left the vicinity. Ward Primary Preparation meeting was held at the home of Mrs. John Page last Thursday afternoon with ten officers and teachers present. After the lessons les-sons were given, refreshments were served by Mrs. Page and Mrs. Beth Mangum. Mr. and Mrs. Max Todd, who have been living near Neola during the winter months, have moved to Roosevelt, where they will be nearer the Todd farm, where Max will be working. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Bartlett, of Provo, were visitors at the home of Mrs. Bartlett's parents over the weekend. Mrs. Glen Eldredge, of Salt Lake City, also al-so spent the weekend at the Eldredge El-dredge home. John H. Cook went to Maeser to get his wife, who has been at the Howard Williams home, and from there would go to Rangely, Colo, to visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Westwood. Mrs. Leland Angus entertained entertain-ed at dinner on Sunday, Feb. 7th, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Timothy Tim-othy and family, and Mr; and Mrs. Bert Angus and family, of Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stanley and family, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Fred Peck, of Gusher, made a trip to Salt Lake City and returned on Sunday, Feb. 7th. Mrs. James Milligan underwent under-went an operation at the Vernal Hospital last week. Miss Glen-da Glen-da Betts cared for the home and . family during her absence. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Winn, Mrs. ! David Lundberg and Mrs. Ern est Knowles, of Neola, made a trip to Vernal on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Von Haslem and family, of Vernal, are moving into their own home in Alterra, where the family of Vaughn Simper have lived for awhile. Mrs. Haslem and family were residents of Alterra for sometime, some-time, and we welcome the family fam-ily back. A correction should be made. It was stated last week that Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Jenkins have a child, but they have not. |
