Show Mrs. Violet Gentry Mrs. Bertha Angus EXPLORER TRIP Boy Scouts, John Percival, Alton D . Percival, Arden Timothy, Tim-othy, Gary Zobell, Jim Drol-linger, Drol-linger, Kent Robison, Tommy Melbourn, Curtis Lamb, Cline Campbell had an exploring trip Saturday. Paul Foote is Scout Master and John Percival is Patrol Leader. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Drol-linger Drol-linger were business callers in Salt Lake City last week. 1 Pat Melbourn was an overnight over-night guest of Shirley Wise in Roosevelt Friday night. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Killian annonuce the arrival of a new member to their family a baby daughter, born to them Friday, February 12, at the Roosevelt hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Swett and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Nelson and daughter of Vernal were guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nelson Sunday. They also' attended Sunday School. Keith Lemon has returned to help with the farm work this summer. Keith has been work-in work-in Salt Lake City. The Virgel Fergusons are moving away to make their home in Murray. The Relief Society will entertain at a party for Mrs. Ferguson Thursday, and the MIA will entertain the family Tuesday night. Several cases of Chicken Pox are reported here this week. Mr. and Mrs. James B. Lemon Lem-on returned home after an extended ex-tended vist with relatives in Salt Lake and Mt. Emmons. Mrs. McDonna Lemon and daughter, Loya, visited Mrs. Lemon's parents in Upalco on Sunday. Bobby Miechie is being cared for by Mrs. Barbara McCarrol in Vernal while Mr. and Mrs. Airel Mitchie are in Salt Lake where Mrs. Mitchie is receiving medical care. Mrs. Myrtle Faus-ett Faus-ett accompanied the Mitchies to Salt Lake City. Eleven of the Teen Agers celebrated Valentine's Day with a party at the home of Virginia Reay Sunday. Pot luck lunch was served. Adele Jensen has been confined con-fined to bed the pase week on account of sickness. Cline Campbell went to Arcadia Ar-cadia Sunday to sing in their meeting. His father, Milo Campbell Camp-bell accompanied him. Mrs. Leo Haueter entertained entertain-ed her club at her home Friday. Fri-day. The afternoon was spent visiting and sewing. Dainty refreshments re-freshments were served to Mrs. Olive Sorensen, Mrs. Edith Gentry, Gen-try, Mrs. Maetie Mortensen, Mrs. Lucy Edwards, Mrs. Josephine Jose-phine Yergensen, Mrs. Sarah Brokaw and Mrs. Violet Gentry. Special guests of the club were Mrs. Afton Johnson, of Myton, and Mrs. Edith Brice, of Hunet, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Lemon returned re-turned last week from a two-months' two-months' visit with their daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. George Davis, of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Max Hart-man, Hart-man, of Mt. Emmons. |
