Show ROOSEVELT JUNIOR HIGH The Riderette Club held a successful dance March 28 after the ball game between Roo.ie-velt Roo.ie-velt and the Union B team. The score was Union 28, Roosevelt Jr. High, 26. On April 1 a matinee dance was held during 6th period. During the last half of the dance, the fourth issue of our school paper was given to the students. The paper was dedicated dedi-cated to "Boys, Boys, Boys," with the following dedication: "This paper is all about our boys, Who not so long ago put away their toys, To think of jokes and sports and joys Like hot rods, science books, and sweet girls' tresses. And of experimenting with caresses. ca-resses. We don't think they are really fools, They can take a joke and still be cool! To the boys we dedicate this paper, And hope they will enjoy our little caper. The Editors Ruth Jean-ette Jean-ette Hamblin, Janice Neilson, Larry Dye and Neil Duncan." The fifth and last issue of the school paper is planned to appear May 2, Girls' Day. The boys will edit the paper, with editors Neil Duncan, Sam An-derton, An-derton, Larry Dye and Bud An-derton An-derton at the helm. With the disappearance of the snow, baseball has made its appearance ap-pearance on the school grounds. Plans are going forward for Basin Days to be held in Duchesne Du-chesne sometime in April. |
