Show Brcwn Duck Lake Reports 83.5 In. Record Snow Lay A report released by Louie Galloway Wednesday reveals another record has been discovered that adds glory to this winter's weather weath-er man . . . Two adventurous adventur-ous Basinites, Ty Kolb and Richard Clark, negotiated the course to Brown Duck Lake, 8 miles west above Moon Lake, and discovered that 83.5 inches of snow, was lying there, which when melted down will give off 30.78 inches of water. That's a lot of snow and a lot of water '. . . In fact -it's another record, because according to Mr. Galloway, the old record was established estab-lished in 1950 when 74.1 inches of snow was measured, meas-ured, with a water content of 23.67 inches . . . and that was a lot of water also. |
