Show Jtcka Mrs. Violet Gentry Mrs. Bertha Angus Brothers In Army Meet In San Diego Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Gentry have received word that their grandsons, Donald and Bryan Gentry met for the first time since they enlisted 19 months ago. Donald, who has been home from Korea on furlough, was on his way to Camp Ord, California, and stopped in San Diego where his brother's ship, the U.S.S. Princeton, was docked dock-ed for repairs. The boys are sons of Mr. and Mrs. Devon Gentry, of Myton. Attorney B. L. Dart, of Price, was in Ioka last week caring for business matters. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn McCarrol, of Vernal, announce the birth of a daughter, March 27, at the Vernal Hospital. Mrs. McCarral is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fausett, of Ioka. Mrs. Zelma Lloyd was reported re-ported on the sick list last week. Mr. and Mrs. Tuff Reay spent Sunday afternoon with relatives in Altonah. Mr. and Mrs. Senior Morten-son Morten-son returned home last week from a visit to Ephraim, Monroe Mon-roe and Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Ashby, of Vernal, Vern-al, visited in Ioka last . week. Bishop and Mrs. James Lemon Lem-on visited in Upalco Sunday with Mrs. Lemon's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Nelson. Mrs. Lela Labrum and Mrs. Mary Hacking, of Roosevelt, visited vis-ited Mrs. John Angus Thursday. Milo Campbell has been employed em-ployed to drive a truck for Wm. H. Linck, of Myton. James Zobell made a trip to Ephraim this week. Fireside Chat was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Percival Sunday night. Bishop James Lemon was the speaker. Sunday evening services were under the direction of the MIA. All officers and teachers from Ioka Ward attended the 4-Stake MIA Convention in Roosevelt Saturday night. Elmer Lemon arrived home on furlough from the Army Monday morning. |
