Show Audiences Well Pleased With Union Operetta The operetta, "The Forest Prince," Union . High School's first musical production, was presented last Thursday and Friday nights at the Roosevelt Stake House, under the direction direc-tion of Clyde Johnson, music instructor. The cast of characters and choruses did an outstanding performance in their various roles, and the authentic Russian and Cossack costumes added much to the operetta, as well as the scenery and stage setting. The duo - piano accompaniment accompani-ment by Jolene Swain and Marta Morrill was outstanding, and the group dances, directed by Dorothy Reynders, lent a graceful grace-ful touch to the operetta mood. The director and students participating are deserving of much praise for their outstanding outstand-ing performance. |
